I know his nephew. Well, he's more a friend of a friend that I've now lost touch with it. A fine gentleman. He's from Kiltimagh, next to Swinford. I believe he's drummed in a few underground bands in Dublin... he loves Mission of Burma almost as much as myself.

Some of my wife’s family are from Kiltimagh so I ended up going to the Mayo Person of the Year in 2009 when Louis Walsh received it. It was a weird mix of parochial networking and “Hey, it’s your man from the TV!”
