Buzzin' round tower records the other day to see mark geary and i saw this cd by a band/artist called "velvetron"...was kinda different to wot u normally see...looked kinda eighties electronic...are they a dublin band...does anyone know wot they sound like?

kinda like sisters of mercy.

i saw them in lazybird. they're not bad. but they seemed to rely on one drum beat the whole time, and a lot of looped film samples.

interesting though.

I saw their CD in Tower and they seem to have some 80's James Cameron odsession.

I don't know what that means.

i thought it was a shame as i couldn't really hear many of the synth lines very well when i say them in lb.
