well, we were a bit surprised by the Nickelback comparison too!we have also been told that we sound like Alice In Chains, Pavement and Fugazi (my fav band!, which also amazes us! cant see the connection between those 3 bands, and the comparison to our music! makes things interesting...

but overall, we were delighted by that review!! we were only together about 3 months at that stage, was our first demo (only 2 songs!),so it opened up a lot of doors for us,and spurred us on!how bad!

I never made mention of how good Blink is? They gave me us a copy of some new material that will be on the new album. Dermot and the Lads are brilliant.

They sure are! and guess what? The support act on the night are The New Messiahs!
Should be a great night, and hey, its free!

Dont ya think ur name kinda sucks? How about Serpents in the sky instead or how bout jackies choice. That would be a real honour for jackie "the rock" hayden. I was gonna use em myself but its urs if ya want. Do blink have a fanbase, i have not heard a new song from em since that cello song.

ya, "cello" was the only thing i heard... back in the day when that rubbish video for "revelate" where the band were on a security camera was being played a lot

Dude, there are not good band names? Here's a good question...

Three of the best band names In rock history
1) The Who
2) Led Zeppelin (whose original names was the new yardbirds)
3) Pink Floyd

What is the best band name in Rock history? Lets see your lists?

I still have a fondness for, 'rapeman.' it was one of the best side project names to come from the jesus lizard and steve albini camps.Only second to the power of 'Tomahawk', (the jesus lizard and Mike Patton).

But 'the melvins' is still a pretty cool name.

how was rapeman a sideproject?
probably one of my favourite band names too.
there was a cork band called 'bitchman' which is nearly as good
andrew

"two nuns and a pack mule" was also one of the best album titles ever. my favourite band name though is 'the avant gardners'. 'i am a no'kazu tak'mura cover band' comes a close 2nd.

casino, Do you have RapeMan? I lost mine when I moved from the states. Damn it do I miss that album, my copy of Scratch Acid. I so miss my copies of Head, Goat and Liar by the Jesus Lizard too.

That is excellent!

'20000 leagues under my nutsack', real name; I am holding the album in my hand.
