animated gif question (1 Viewer)

Can this be done and how?
I've got two (or more) animated gif files that I want to join and make into one animated gif.

should be able to just stitch them together in fireworks

I used to use Adobe ImageReady which came with Photoshop but In CS3 or later (they dropped Image Ready).

With them you an make Animated gifs but you can't open them (they only open a single frame).

I think you an do it with 'Import Video To Layers' but you need quicktime installed on your machine.

I used that to create the gifs in the first place. Now I want to stitch a few together. Up till now I've brought all the layers into one psd and recreated the gifs into one big gif but that's a huge pain.

I've never done this as I can't get Quicktime to work in Windows 7.

I think Fireworks is prolly yer best bet..
