Cool looks like this weekend is gonna be a good one in Dublin.

once again i have an exam straight after a gig. i always seem to do my best exams on rock + drink + no sleep + travel anyway. altar of plagues lyrics may be interspersed with PL/SQL queries.

as opposed to the random swearing techniques and Tom Warrior style "OOOH!"s employed by Drainland nowadays when we forget lyrics.Which is every song.
I used to find that getting drunk was great for the ad hoc making up of lyrics.
cf. Boston gig.

AOP have such long hard to remember songs that I'm going to be sober as a stone for this though.

on average, our songs now have approx 80% more lyrics than they used to, but are stillt he same length.Hence much struggling to fit them in for me and Cory. Not so much from Aongus, who has a more..eh.."unique" vocal style and disregards them entirely.

at least ye had lyrics, when i joined Half Mast here's a quick synopsis:

me: hey so wants the story with lyrics?
anon member: ask joe, he wrote them...
me: yo joe, lyrics? what be?
joe: ah, i dunno, i've forgot them and can't find the sheets i wrote them on...just wing it you'll be grand...

TRUE STORY! :)
