While I would never opt for an abortion myself I think they should be legalised.

Maternity hospitals in this country are avoiding giving pregnant women dating scans - which need to be done at approx 12 weeks (and therefore putting the life and wellbeing of wanted children at risk - killing mine and almost killing me - through unnecessary intervention due to inaccurate pregnancy dating) because of some Catholic idea that they should prevent mothers having knowledge that might lead them to chose abortion and go to England.

On a side note many of this countries Ob/Gyn consultants should be retrospectively aborted.

The Rotunda are good for the scans. Information too.

Holles St aren't and they lie about it. I was refused a dating scan, offered only an anomaly scan, with the explanation that they "didn't do dating scans". Later they tried to claim that never happened. Any woman I've spoke to who went there was not offered (or was refused) a dating scan.

holles street are known for their "catholic ethos" alright.
