was this for me, hectoid, or have i got the wrong end o' the stick again?

keeror, do you have a bee in your bonnet about showing how godspeed are "sellouts"? its not the first time i've seen you mention this...
Naah. I merely heard conflicting opinions as to whether or not it was them - since they don't appear on the soundtrack CD I wondered was it a Godspeeding rip-off.

They can give me a bit of a pain in the head with the contradictions between their anti-capitalist stance (and A Silver! Mount Zion's painful lyrics) and their reality of having their songs in Rupert Murdoch's films or playing MCD gigs. But I try not to worry about it too much.

The exclamation mark can be put anywhere anyone likes. That's freedom, real freedom.

Ah Rory
Ah jaykers

I know this has been said a million times before, but you don't seem to get it. Lookit, life is complicated. I'm an anti-capitalist. I work for a capitalist computer company. Don't seem to make sense on the surface but I'm making the best of a situation that I have very little control over. Enough of your judgement, dude - try and be a better man

Ah, selective editing!

Ah, tautologies!
Ah, life's complications are what makes it worth living. The Godspeed backstory seems to attempt to simplify ad absurdium. If they smiled occasionally it'd all be a lot more fun.

No no, YOU do. So do they.

Fair enough. Everyone has to interact with the modern world, even if they
dont agree with it*. But you dont constantly hark on about anti-capitalism
at work, do you? I dont have a problem with people playing gigs for mcd, or
signing to major record labels, unless they CONSTANTLY hark on in interviews
about how much they're against it, and how they only eat frozen canadian
bark and live in a barna shed. Still doesnt affect their music though.

Fin

* not necessarily true. you could live in leitrim.
