2009-2010 Championship Thread (1 Viewer)

Thought when Savage and Dickov scored it was the same ol QPR conceding goals to the same ol shit who can always rely on us for an easy day out.

Thankfully it all turned around. Derby are awful and QPR were far better. More of the same please.

Anybody following the playoff final? Crazy stuff so far, 3-2 to Blackpool at half time and Cardiff had an equaliser ruled out for offside in stoppage time there.. Blackpool are great to watch, they just keep attacking, look like they'd get demolished at the back in the Premier League though.

Delighted Cardiff got stuffed after the 2003 playoff and all the controversy around it. Chuffed for Holloway too, towards the end of his time at QPR he really got on my nerves as he was playing to the media all the time. Since he's been at Blackpool he's kept his head down and he's now in the news for results rather than stupid quotes.

Stupid, utterly hilarious quotes.

inside tip lads - put a sneaky tenner on Wednesday for the Play Offs.
They were finding their form in the 2nd half of last season and have added a few players since.
They have the backing of a good chairman and there is a buzz about the whole club.

Full Disclosure: I am a Sheffield Wednesday fan.

F**K SAKE

WBA
Sheff Utd
Boro
Cardiff
Preston
Ipswich
Reading
QPR

Newcastle somewhere near the bottom

Blackpool
Derby
Scunthorpe

Who would have thought Blackpool!

Haha, fair play to them. Obviously it's hard not to see them being the new WBA or Burnley next season. They seem to have a lot of loan players (including our own Seamus Coleman), could be looking at an even more lightweight squad if they can't retain them. The sensible course of action for them would be to limit spending, do up their stadium and make the club's future financially secure, then just take the beatings, hope for the odd upset and enjoy the ride. Hopefully their fans won't get too despondent after a few thrashings and won't be calling for Holloway's head with Ian Dowie or whoever coming in to 'rescue' them.
