Poor Jimmy :-( So sad for his family and friends to lose such a lovely guy. Like sweetoblivion, I had met him a few times at gigs and on the street as well. Was a big follower of music on the radio as well. I know many presenters who looked forward to to his texts in.

We did @mark , @Squiggle turned up and highlighted that , as a woman who has played sports, descrimination blatently exists. But her points were generally ignored and pushed to the side by the guys.

Yep, it's good! The worse songs are the ones they released before hand, Walk me to the Bridge and Europa. Song 8 is fantastic.

That Diamanda Galas one is completely unlistenable and really unsettling.

They did this in Cork as well. HMV had a fine sized premises on Patrick St, and when they moved out, GD took the shop. they put a paltry amount of stock on the ground floor with a massive counter and closed the whole of the upstairs where the DVDs and classical music were. It is such a waste...

Not a band I have a massive interest in, but will listen. But double albums are pretty sexy....argh! I'd buy a Jedward album if it was in a nicely done double album format.

Closer for me to work! Won't have to break my back to go there at lunch time! If it is a bigger premises then they have to take the cafe? It's part of their 'business model' now anyway? I wouldn't be over Nassau/Dawson at weekends though, so it's a tiny bit out of the way then... So, I guess...
