The Washington Post loves it

It’s something conservative pretending to be something bold. It’s Sandra Bullock’s hack dialogue in Gravity. It’s square, sexless, deeply unstylish, painfully obvious rock music. It’s an album with a song called “Porno” that you could play for your parents. It’s fraud.

Not a band I have a massive interest in, but will listen. But double albums are pretty sexy....argh! I'd buy a Jedward album if it was in a nicely done double album format.

I've never been hugely into Arcade Fire, not even around the first album when everyone was raving about them, but that song is fantastic!

New one is better than the second one, and the third.

To me the first album was stellar.
Second one was pretty middling and didn't even bother with the third.
I'm liking this new one enough so far.
Mostly while biking home drunk from barrooms so it's hard to say how I really feel about it.

Lads! The Suburbs was great - my favourite.

Apart from maybe two tracks, Neon Bible was awful.

New one is good - has some great moments, but a lot of filler and dodgy enough lyrics.

I keep hearing The Suburbs is great I hear it's a grower too which is probably why every time I hear it in passing it sounds a bit meh. I'll give it a go though.
