This is a dj mix by EYE from Boredoms released in 1999. Hasn't aged a bit. Typical abrasive/bizarre opening, but the last 40 mins is incredible

I'm listening to Physical Graffiti on the headphones in work. Just godlike. The zenith of Zeppelin.
A double album and the first filter song (imho) is 13 tracks in (Boogie with Stu) & even that is good fun. Sick again sounds a rehash of previous songs, but is still decent.

OK, after having a huge amount of records I hadn't finished listening to a few years back (well over 100) it is finally under control.
Just down to: 1 tape, 1 CD, 2 LPs.
Also have 1 CD and 2 LPs I haven't listened to yet.
For 15 months I had an unopened box of 4 old Japanese punk reissues LPs as I listened to the backlog.

DIE OWAN LPs are Japanese tapes from 1982 or something. Punk band w/ drum machine that gets a bit experimental at times with a sense of humor. The songs are really short - many are less than 5 or 10 seconds. So one of the LPs has over 100 songs. Really cool archive release.

SACRILEGE - Behind The Realms of Madness MLP (1985) reissue. w/ bonus LP. Never had this on vinyl before.

DINOSAUR - Repulsion 7"
ZOM - Multiversal Holocaust 7" (forgot about this band)
URBAN WASTE - NYHC Document 1981-83 LP

Listening to this CD in the car

Cosmic Music - A voyage through french cosmic & electronic avantgarde (1970-1980)

I wouldn't say any of it is "avantgarde" . Its mostly electro disco funk grooves and loads of cool old synthesizers on top. Nice listen though.

What’s on the bonus LP? Great album in any case.
Two tracks from 2015 reunion that aren't as good. There's demo tracks from 1986 and two live tracks that were all previously released.
The double LP same track listing as the 2015 Relapse reissue but has the proper original artwork.

I just wanted this on vinyl. The demos from before Behind The Realms... are the Sacrilege's best stuff IMO. Everything they recorded has been reissued many times now.
Everything I ever heard recorded at Rich Bitch studios wasn't as good as it should have been e.g. Napalm's 1986 From Enslavement to Obliteration demo are the best versions of songs that ended up on the Scum LP.
Poor but very talented bands went there as they couldn't afford anywhere else.

Only noticed this now. Nearly everything I've heard by Francois de Roubaix is great.
His late 60's to mid 70's soundtracks are a perfect mix of lush cinematic French and avant garde musique.
Pity he died in his thirties. I've been meaning to buy his records for years... Francois gets bonus points for having Roubaix in his name.
