Major Pleasures (6 Viewers)

We’re moving out of Dublin soon so we’re working on a bucket list of stuff we want to see or do while we can.
Today was a very early walk around the quays and grand canal, and we were the first people in to my favourite pastry place, so everything was warm, crispy and delicious.
Chatted to some tourists and neighbours while we were out, and it’s just a lovely warm fuzzy feeling all round.

• All you can eat chicken wings in Brewdog (Wednesdays).
•Picnic in the Iveagh gardens.
•Walk the new route from the quays to Dublin Port
•Drink some cheap cans of cider on the canal
•Go on the red bus tour of dublin
•walk around glasnevin cemetery, ending with pints in the gravediggers
•collect conkers in the Phoenix park
•roll down the hill at the Popes cross (like Russian roulette for dog/deer shit)

I think that’s it so far, so suggestions are very welcome.

Do they still do the amphibious vehicle road/boat thing?

A fren is visiting Dublin soon, and he ENTIRELY BY HAPPY COINCIDENCE booked a hotel near the Jameson distillery. So he's going to drag everyone else along.

Guinness tour was above expectations as well.

Walking out to the lighthouse on South Wall

Doing a loop of the Head of Howth, taking time to get fish from the man and feeding the seals in the harbour and then having a big dinner in that pub beneath the station.

I work just beside there, so pop in every now and then when it’s off season and quiet.

I haven’t been to the Museum of Curiosities yet. Saving that for when @Jill Hives is here and we can go there daytime drunk. It’s our thing.

I have never been to Ireland's eye despite having lived in Dublin nearly 5 decades.

It's wicked. When I went our boat guy cancelled on us. He blamed the weather but it was definitely because he was in the bookies/pub.
He took us out the next day but there was a matter of trust with this guy.
But the actual experience of being there made up for his dickheadedry. He did not get a tip.

Just saw a photo I took of someone has been used in A Thing and i'm fuckin delighted.
