anyone heard the new one yet?

I've heard one or two tracks. Not getting excited.

However, pitchfork had a release date for the Archives thing in their roundup of upcoming releases last week ... June some time as far as I remember

the new album ist rad

I love it, very similar in sound to Living With Way, a bit boxy sounding, but you get the impression the mics were just thrown uo around it. Some great guitar sounds and some great arrangments... ussually with his rockers it's straight ahead riffing and solo's for 4 or 5 minutes, but there's some great turns in this one. For what sounded like a bats half baked idea, it's a great great record....

what's the price in the shops here.

probably go for CD but the Journey Through The Past DVD don't come with that set so will need to order separately.

cannae afford blu-ray (and player) at moment.

CD version is 120 euros and DVD version is 220 euros in Tower Records. I think they are a bit more expensive in HMV.

It is surprising given that Neil Young's crowd is usually fairly proactive about getting Neil's stuff off blogs. My guess is that this is a South American blog and the guy is ignoring any take down requests he gets. Wouldn't surprise me if it does disappear someday though.
