Hollandaise sauce (1 Viewer)

hmmm dunno, I made my own ala ramsey receipe. very hard to find unsalted butter so had to use normal butter


it curdled after a bit...... not the best
 
I made this last night but but it started to split towards the end so I put a splash of cold water in which kinda saved it from curdling but made it a bit runny. Tasted good though.

It's very close to a bernaise yes?
 
also reminds me that the recipe for bearnaise in the blessed nigel slater's appetite is pretty much foolproof, as far as i remember.
