Sincerity may be rare, but it's one of the best things in the world.

I only really started to appreciate it when I began to realise how insincere most people actually are.

Instead of 'nice' we should use more adjectives.

Someone could be described as 'charming, dashing, honest and caring' or 'thoughtful, kind, helpful and sweet' or whatever.

I think saying someone is nice is almost equivalent to saying they are 'alright' or 'ok'

"Lovely" is a bit more expressive of general approval.
