i had a cyst on my leg for about 7 years that burst last night! when it first appeared i was worried about it - it was like a pimple that you just couldn't burst. when i asked doctors about it they told me not to worry about it and that they'd do nothing about it because doing so could cause an infection. generally, i've forgotten about it but i'd squeeze it from time to time. last night i was idly squeezing it when they whole thing just sort of moved/flowed. then this awful smell. disgusting puss everywhere. i have to say i'm delighted with myself today that it's gone. needed to share. maybe you'd like to share some gross stuff too - i couldn't find a thread

That's a lesson I've learnt from the younger generation, if you are going to try some new food, or watch a new film, or listen to a song you haven't heard before, video yourself and upload it as a reaction video to youtube. "first time hearing showaddywaddy" "OMG, THIS IS FIRE" First time eating pot noodle" " THIS IS A VIBE"
ect.....

One day though she brought in from the garden a leech in the process of eating an earthworm, and ... eww, that was pretty gross

I have a high tolerance for gross things but the only exception is anything on Dr. Pimple Popper. Leeches eating a worm, no problem. Dead things. Blood. Anything with animals BUT no puss coming out of sacs. Instant gag reflex. I can't even watch the adverts for that show, even though they don't show anything. Oh, and pulling things out of ears. That's a no go too.

i have two birds rotting in the back garden at the moment, i've a decent tolerance for that sort of thing (see my recent post in the DIY guitar making thread for context).

and i was recently watching videos on youtube from durham hearing specialists, watching him pull gank out of people's ears. it's digusting but cathartic.

my mother had a bucket out her back garden, full of rain water. bird died in it. i wasn't going near it. yuck yuck

this cyst was about the size of a marble before it popped. the fucking smell when it did though. fantastic!
