What did you think of On An Island? A few lovely bits but mostly fairly dull I thought

just listened to this again. I like it more than I remember. Its still very boring though

Listened to the Zabraskie Point soundtrack album, it's really good. Some weird stuff in there, like Roger making sex noises and other random stuff. The piano version of Us and Them is lovely though. It's nice to know how the song originated.

My copy didnt have the early us and them (violent sequence?), it just had 4 or 5 floyd tracks and loads of stuff by other people. is this the double disc reissue? I hate the singing on Us & Them, ruins it.

same. My copy only has 3 Floyd tracks. "Heat Beat, Pig Meat", "Crumbling Land" and "Come in Number 51"

thats fantastic Shaney, thanks for posting. Its great seeing Syd looking so young and healthy. And it got me to thinking I've seen almost no video footage of Syd Barrett over the years.

Wow, Pink Floyd's Learning To Fly single was released 25 years ago today. This makes me feel young, 25 years ago I had yet to become a floyd fan. Learning to Fly is a great song though.

Roger Waters still struggling to pay the bills it seems. Bringing The Wall back here next september according to MCD.

Have to say though, this was incredible in the O2, but the ticket prices were extortionate. Will have to see what they charge this time. If its over the tonne, then he can go fcuk himself, moany cunt.

I'd pay good money to hear him play this new song and maybe some others, and some stuff from Amused to Death and Pros and Cons but not the wall ffs, he's making a mockery of it at this stage.
