When issues that the left wing promote have a negative effect on people it tends to push ordinary people to support the right. Take immigration for example, in Britain little things are being changed due to immigration even shit like having to call the christmas lights winter-lights, that annoys people because well why should they have to change? In Dublin, St.James hospital took down(or moved,correct me if im wrong) their christmas crib so as not to offend people of other faiths, this annoyed alot of ordinary people, not just christians, because it is a tradition. Doing things like cancelling metal gigs will just start to piss metalers off, many of who will have had no interest in politics up until now will think 'well i don't want to support the leftwing if their going to start having a negative impact on my life' when in reality if this gig had of went ahead no one would have cared and it would have made no impact.

Don't waste your time on this bullshit thinking you've fought some right wing cause just by getting an underground gig cancelled. Get yourself informed and fight the real enemy. Talking to some of the people is the best thing you can do, you might change some minds, well you have more chance of making an impact that way than you will by just slagging them off or beating them up. You might also learn something about yourself.
