I thought the opposite. He had a look after and when he came out he was doing a scope for Lester as much as anyone else. But I reckon he figured 'I'll just play with Lester a little longer to see how he deals with this corpse in his office'.

ASIDE: the patient sitting in Malvo’s chair was the same actor who played the bumbling cop Davis on the brilliant Canadian TV comedy “Corner Gas.” His name? LORNE Cardinal. If you have never seen Corner Gas, it’s arguably one of the best TV comedies of the 2000s. It has all the upper midwestern accents, small town oddity and dark whimsy of “Fargo,” just none of the murders and relatively little of the evil.

Best episode yet. Terrific tension. I really liked the scene with Malvo and Molly's dad too.

It seems absurd, but I still quite like Malvo, and am only disappointed in him when he is mean to vulnerable or decent people. I think Molly, her da and Gus are safe for the time being.

Final episode next week. Should be interesting to see how they end it.
