Jape‘s Ritual has just been announced as the winner of the Choice Music Prize 2008.
It was a particularly strong shortlist this year, with Fight Like Apes, R.S.A.G., Oppenheimer, Halfset, Messiah J & The Expert, Mick Flannery, Lisa Hannigan, David Holmes and The Script(!) all in contention.
Well done, boss. Looks like programming all those "poxy samplers" was worth it after all.
