Squarehead have released a cover of the Phil Spector classic Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) as a free download.
So here it is Merry 12th of December and to celebrate this wonderful Monday we give you our recording of ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’ originally performed by Darlene Love in 1963. Written by the always crazy Phil Spector for the Christmas compilation album ‘A Christmas Gift For You From Phillies Records’, this free download is Squarehead’s gift to anyone who came to the gigs, bought our album or just ‘liked’ our Facebewk.
Recorded by our main man Fiachra (Tiny P) McCarthy, it features the usual heads plus backing vocals from the Squarettes made up of Saileóg O’Halloran and Lucy Smyth. It was also mastered by our go-to sound master Stephen Quinn. So why not spread a little cheer and share this with your friends and families.
