Hames will be released on old fashioned CD and the modern iTunes download formats. The launch happens in Murray’s of O’Connell Street, the new home of The Boom Boom Room.
Alog with the "gently undulating soundwash" that is Rollers / Sparkers, there will also be a performance by Dara O’Brien "…in a tabla and sitar duo that may question everything you’ve ever held dear about the Occident."
In between live performances there will be a selection of musical interludes provided by Lazybird‘s Neil Donovan, "…a man whose love of the drone is equalled only by his fear of the solo", and Paul Watts "…whose thoughtful passion for the sonic arts reflects a profound hatred of both classical music and children". That’s what it says here anyway.
Doors are at 8pm and admission is €10.
Hames is like a really fashionable ear infection i.e. after everyone else has caught it, you’ll feel you should have too, but by then it will be too late and people will scorn your so-called "razor-sharp hearing".
