Herm‘s new album ‘Monsters‘ is out on Catchy Go Go this month, preceded by the single ‘Heads’.
Herm has begun 2009 in a brouhaha of activity, releasing a single in February, their debut album in March and a busy touring schedule promoting these new releases stretching out for the next six months. ‘Heads’ is the first single taken from Herm’s upcoming album ‘Monsters’. A melodic slice of indie pop, its upbeat groove and infectious ‘woah woah’ refrain contrasts nicely with lyrics which apparently reference cannibalism. The new single also has a limited physical run, featuring the B side ‘Cellar Door’ and lovely handmade artwork that doubles as a poster, and can be bought at their shows or online by contacting the band.
They launch their album ‘Monsters’, released by Catchy Go Go Records (National Prayer Breakfast / El Diablo ), in Crawdaddy on March 20th. All are welcome.
