Somadrone sound is lush minimalism, a sonic trip, soundtracks for early light. Beginning in 1998, with a focus on electronic pop and experimental music, each album evolves with a change tone and direction. 2010’s Depth of Field (Skinny Wolves Records), recorded in parts in Ireland/France/Sweden/Germany/California, was a 3-year labor of love, aided by grand piano, harpsichord and voice, the album further pushed his sound into dreamlike miniature symphonies.
Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, Somadrone is currently mixing his fourth album The First Wave which includes the single Pulse of Joy, released digitally on Scintilla Recordings Nov 9th
