I think some of Tastes stuff is a lot more bluesy than his early albums- towards the end it got very bluesy alright but you should check out the early 70s stuff; self-titled lp, top priority,tattoo, blueprint jinx and the rest

Love the guitar on Disappearer

i'd rate washing maching as their finest hour - becuz, saucerlike, washing machine, unwind, panty lies and skip tracer are flawless. the lyrics are stronger than usual too in that theres nothing overly cringy on there apart from, maybe, junkies promise and the lyrics to the diamond sea.

kims guitar playing is pretty underrated too, i reckon.
