Thirteen songs were recorded in Dhulaigh Studios, Dublin; while two songs were tracked in Chicago. SETTLER’s tour found them in the living room of Barry Phipps (The Coctails) which resulted in a spontaneous and classic recording session. Chicago indie-darling Nora O'Connor (who has sung with The Handsome Family and The New Pornographers as well as many others) donated some stunning backing vocals.
The album was mixed by Barry Phipps at North Branch in Chicago and mastered by the legendary Roger Seibel at SAE in Phoenix, AZ.
