They HAD to sell Cantona because he was behaving like a spoilt French Cunt. Newcastle sold Given who'd been voted the best goalkeeper in the league midway through a season in which they'd been leaking goals and then got relegated. You can't compare the two. If Newcastle had any brains at all they'd have offered him the world to stay til the end of the season instead they sold him and the floodgates opened.

Cantona Couldn't have stayed any longer and selling Given could have waited four months, Newcastle might have stayed up and not missed out on the millions of pounds that premier league survival would have garunteed. Therefore worst selling ever.
