Has The Saints in Whelan's about 5 years ago been mentioned yet? Sooo bad it was comedy gold and I luckily got in for nothing. Schneaky of these parts even got to do a drunken, really bad improv cameo during the 'encore'.

Definately disagree with that. While it certainly wasn't their best performance I've seen from them (Supersonic 07) it wasn't dire by any stretch. I still listen to the recording of it quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure I've been to tonnes of really shit gigs but my memory has blocked them out. Raging Speedhorn in Dolans was diabolical. It was all a fat trucker screaming "MOSH MORE YOU FUCKING FAGGOTS" at kids.

Aethenor and Skitliv both at Roadburn 08 were both the worst and most disappointing bands ever. Skitliv was just hilariously bad while Aethenor were so bad I tried to return their LP I'd bought of them just before they played (another fucking hyped up Steven O'Malley band)

Oh! Completely forgot about bob dylan at roskilde in about 2005. I left when i realised the horrible country song he was playing was actually blowing in the wind (cheesy slide guitar was louder than his croak so it took a while to click). Amazingly disappointing.

Yeah, I saw him around the same time in Dublin. Really dire. I was all up for the re-inventing the songs thing and being idiosynscratic and weird but unfortunately none of that was in a good way.

I saw two TERRIBLE bands on Saturdfay at Vantastiyoke...A seven piece be-dreadlocked white rasta band called ..wait for it....WEEDWAY.
And the most dire act i've ever saw called Frantic Jack.Good god they were disgraceful.
