I have a Behringer MX8000 mixer, there is an annoying hum from the left channel. Does anyone know someone who could look at it for me, ideas of rough cost? The desk is big but isn't highest quality so may not be worth the cost.

I know that, I said that in my question. If you don't have anything useful to add don't bother commenting.

Apologies for pissing in your cornflakes
Behringer tend to use SMD components these days
Extremely difficult to solder/de-solder and the PCB tracks
Will lift from the board easily
For these reasons most repair guys won't go near them

I've never had the desk open to see the boards inside. The desk is still usable as it is for what I'm doing. I'll try the ground loop isolation device. Failing that it might be time to reinvest in a new desk.
