Well Vampire Weekend's stuff is fairly uncluttered. Nothing ever gets lost in a fuzz and you can pretty much hum every line of every instrument on their songs...

Eh, I think his first release, Rock'n'Roll Night Club, is quite excellent. Most of the vocals are recorded at half speed so they're really low and sleazy sounding, it's a cool listen. It also has I'm a Man on it and that's my favourite song by him:

I have a mute button on my keyboard for when someone comes into my office. Someone came in when I was listening to Age Of Consent just there.
We are expecting word from a client and this person wanted to know if we had received word. I checked my email while we were both at my desk - we get our voicemails emailed to us as wav files.
So I said "This might be him" and I opened the voicemail file and Jimmy Somerville starts wailing out of the speakers about needing a man.
