i'd vote for 1998, 2002, 2004 although dublin was just a bit player in them. dublin isnt the centre of the world you know. ive had better summers elsewhere.

I think it was 95, the summer I did my leaving, was doing about 400 miles a week on the bike, got a job as a mechanic, and decided to try living in the real world when everyone else was poncing off to college.
Bought my first motorbike, crashed it loads, met loads of Dublin inner city dodgy geezas and dealas.
Ireland was still sort of... normal then. Everyone wasn't driving Bmers yet. You could still afford to buy houses.
And the sun was splitting the stones.
