C'mon, its not the famine anymore, there's fucking loads of them.

Here's my latest experimentation:

Cayenne Pepper mash

You'll need:

Floury spuds.
Cayenne pepper.
Freshly cracked black pepper.
A knob of butter.
A little milk.

1. Boil your aul spuds there. Mash the fuckers.
2. Melt the butter in a cup (not a mug, a cup like the Queen would use).
3. Add your cayenne and black pepper to the melted butter, mix well (with a spoon probably, a teaspoon definitely)
4. Now add yissir milk in all in anyways, fill the cup to halfways.
5. Add the contents of the cup to yissir mashed spuds and mash ta fuck again.

You can also add finely chopped spring onions to the mix.

Luverly.

how i love spudatoes.

lately i've been baking them. then in a pan i fry some onions and garlic in real butter. add some oregano, cream, a tiny squeeze of lemon, and white wine.

take those fuckers outta the oven, split 'em open and drown them in the sauce.

devour and cry from the goodness.

Mashed n' baked wholegrain mustard spuds.*

required:

milk
butter
wholegrain mustard
fresh chives
SPUDS

Mash your spuds, with good dollops of milk and butter.
Then stir in a good two teaspoons of wholegrain mustard and chop in some chives. Lightly oil a baking tray. Chuck on heaped spoonfuls of the mash, and then with a fork sculpt them into meringue type shapes. Bake for 10-15 mins on a low heat, or until they crisp up and start to brown.
Serve with with a roast or casseroles.

* I know there's a name for this way of doing them but I can't think of it.

Some Polish spuddy/tuna yoke me mate showed me.

You’ll need:

  • Good Spuds
  • A red & yellow pepper
  • Tin of tuna
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Goats cheese

Do the spuds in the microwave with the jackets on. 10 mins usually does. Give the spuds a few piercings with a fork beforehand.
Halve the spuds and carefully scoop out the potato, leaving the jackets in tact.

In a big bowl mix the potato with finely chopped peppers, garlic & onion (gently fry the garlic & onion in a pan beforehand). Then add a can of tuna, some chopped fresh parsley, salt & pepper.

Scoop your mixture into the potato jackets, crumble some goatscheese on top and whack in the oven on a moderate heat for 20 mins.

Then eat the balls off it.
