Currently listening to John Martyn - 'Bless The Weather'.. must be the most mellow album ever made. Glistening Glyndebourne is stunning.

paul robeson: "ol' man river: his 25 greatest" (deeply uplifting songs by my favourite male singer)
black light district: "a thousand lights in a darkened room" (intensely hallucinogenic chasms of sound with an incredible textural diversity)
nusrat fateh ali khan: "rapture" (qawwali passion - transcendant)
muslimgauze: "islamaphobia" (an excellently titled collection of hypnotic dance pieces constructed from loops of north african rhythms with some abrasive though highly controlled digital distortion)

fantastic song, my favourite italo disco tune. the whole thing pulsates with amyl.

The whole album is fantastic. Really sick, cheap and dirty sounding. I'm not sure if I'd consider it strictly Italo though. Great nonetheless.
