Taxi 1 = Amazing
Taxi 2 = Pretty funny
Taxi 3 = I haven't even bothered watching it

without a doubt one of the most haunting, amazing documentaries i've ever seen. watch it. was at the IFI - after the film, we were linked up to the film makers and narrator, one of the video journalists who works for DVB.
this film will bring major tears to your eyes.

Saw "Up" the other day in 3D. It was deadly. The kids didn't go mad for it, a bit sad. The first half an hour, jaysus, bring the tissues.

Saw this yesterday, pretty good 'hard' sci-fi of the thoughtful, idea-driven type with a whole lot of allusions to films like 2001 (including a speaking computer that's like HAL's more well-adjusted little brother), Silent Running, Solaris, etc.. It ends up being about questions of identity and scientific ethics and I didn't feel they quite pushed the premise hard enough for it to be fully succesful but it's well made (directed by David Bowie's son!) and well acted, definately worth a look if you like any of the aforementioned movies..

Saw Black Cat White Cat, which was very enjoyable, and the latest Harry Potter, which I didn't have a clue about but still thought it was good crack all the same.
