the visitor - really good even with all the bongo playing

the curious case of benjamin button - pretty hollywood but good, audio cut out halfway through but i didn't mind too much since brad pitt was starting to get a bit too brad pittish anyway as the character got younger, cheeky lopsided grins etc.

frozen river - great, had tried to watch it hungover once before and couldn't handle the bleakness but it was great, brilliant acting

constance - another terrible zentropa 'erotica for women' effort. watched about 15 minutes and switched it off in disgust, with a complete anti-horn. think i'll stick to pornhub from now on.

frost/nixon - another good one, thought i mightn't get what was going on since i don't know that much about nixon but it wasn't too overloaded with issues you'd need to know details of

i liked it. it was really well made and well told

a poignant scene was the opening scene where you had 2 sets of polish people fleeing, on one side you had the ones fleeing the nazis and on the other side you had the polish people fleeing the russians

it was a good movie i thought

Absolute can of piss of a film. I enjoyed the first one (a lot) but this one is just a mess lurching from set piece to set piece with horrible dialogue, confusing effects and every robot looks the same. EDIT As I forgot to mention that 'The Twins' were possibly the shittest, most annoying characters in the history of film.

Maybe I ignored all of this in the first one as the appeal of seeing Transformers blowing shit up was enough for me or maybe Speilberg had a bit of an influence on the first one and nothing to do with the second one!?!? Either way avoid Revenge Of The Fallen is a piece of shit.
