We have just confirmed the Temple Bar Music Centre as the official Dublin venue for the World West Memphis Three World Awareness Day ( 3rd June '06) with all proceeds going to the defence fund. Bands and full nights activities to be confirmed, Primed will be performing live, though not headlining as we are looking for a higher profile band to take the headlining slot so as to try to draw more people and hopefully fill the venue. More than likely there will be a screening of one of the documentaries before the music starts. There will be official merchandise available also with all proceeds going to the charity. If anyone would like to help in any way you can contact me here, on [email protected], www.myspace.com/primed or visit the official website at www.wm3.org.

Full details Re: Admission, Bands, Full nights activities T.B.C

All help and input appreciated and welcomed if anyone knows any bands that would be willing to play please contact me, there will be a max number of bands on the night obvioulsy so the bigger the draw the band has the higher prority they will be given, however all bands will be considered and even though everyone cant play there will be plenty of help needed on the day and in the days leading up to the event so please do get in touch if you think there is anything you can help with.

We will be putting up a full list of specific things that we will need help with, mostly with regard to promoting the event and other duties. There is something to do for everyone who wants to help, so dont think that anythingis too small, helping with stage setup, stalls both inside and outside of the venue, free services inside Henna, body art and the likes home made jewellry etc for sale at the stalls to beneftit the charity, complimentary food and drinks, we will be requesting graphics or mpeg movies in the subject of the WM3 as we will be looping artwork poetry, pictures and mini movies in a montage at certain intervals. If anyone has any poetry, art, lyrics etc. on the subject we will have a wall dedicated to this. The Full list should be up within a day or two, but in the meantime keep the mails and ideas coming, all will be read, considered and replyed

There will be a full list of band posted as confirmed, if there are any bands you would like to see, who you think would be willing to help please post here or contact me at the above addresses.

P.S. this isnt a thread for snide comments, please try to keep your extremely witty responses for other threads.

Thanks to everyone for their emails and pm's offering help, its really appreciated, were not gonna be getting back to you all till the end of this week so dont think were ignoring you, we just want to get everything in one pile then we can start organising the logistics of the day.

One VERY important thing is that we get the best possible headlining act on the lineup, so as to ensure a packed house, we are confident that it will be busy anyway but to have a guaranteed crowd puller would be a bonus. Some excellent bands have offered their sevrvices and some equally excellent bands have been suggested, again, were not ignoring you we will be replying to everyone by the end of this week.

Keep the suggestions, offers of help and anything else you think of coming in, everyones help in this, no matter how small or big, will make a huge difference.

We will have copies of the DVD available in the coming weeks, as they are notoriously hard to come by in Ireland and Merchandise should be available soon.

Thanks again!
