So after 5 bassy months of Dubstep an jungle riddims the Welfare Clinic is cranking it up with a 4 week BreaK/RaggA/HarD/MasH/CoRe mini-series!

Herv
Originally releasing on labels such as Risc Records and Go Away Recordings (both of which he co-ran for several years), since 2007 Herv has abandoned physical media, preferring to put out his work for free on Net-labels such as Brighton’s Net-Lab, Belfast’s Acroplane and Dublin’s Richter Collective and Alphabet Set.
Since his first release Herv has produced a huge variety of electronic music, initially exploring a kind of wonky folktronica on initial releases such as “Warmduscher” and his first albums “Intoduction to Synthesisers” and “Snap Hands”, through chiptune and Gameboy music on “Cicada”, and giving way to breakcore and gabba on 2006’s “Customer”.
More recently Herv has moved back to his first love of breakbeat rave and techno, melded with the complex melodic and percussive interplay he is best known for and his releases “Flot and Retent”, “Lithic” and the album on Acroplane released but a few weeks ago reflect that intensely.

The Herv can bring you from old-school badness,through nintendo-funnery and onto head stomping (and bucket-on-head-wearing) mashness!
On a personal note,i reckon Herv to be one of the most varied prodcuers around,so much so that in my serato crates index i have all the genres and sub-a-sub--genres covered and stacked,but Hervs tracks are in the genre crate -"Herv"
Nuff said.
