I had just started learning guitar when this came out. I remember someone remarking on the difference in Gary Moore's overblown, shrill sound and, in my opinion, horrible solo on this compared to the tasteful, mellow solo by Mark Knopfler. It's a lesson that stayed with me.

I love Gary Moore, by the way. Just not this. And I don't like his coat
