It's 2.30 and we are still in Cork. Reality bites. I am stuck at my desk profiling local candidates for the upcoming local election, J is putting their pretty pictures to print and Steve aka Mangler is studying for his engineering exams. God, I need the rock and the roll. At least Waiting Room, Ten Past Seven and Giveamanakick are probably having a shit time too. And at the end of the day, Waiting Room having a shit time is all matters.

that was excellent , I really enjoyed all 4 bands. Its great to see stuff like this coming out of this country, at last.

Who needs lightning bolt? GAMAK are unreal.
Rest had a few really intense songs, thumbs up.
Ten past seven sounded mad. Their stuff sorta reminded me of Mr Bungle's "California".
Waiting Room were alright too.

Me too, with the great gig. Shame the rest album is delayed.

As I was saying to my accomplices, it's amazing the difference in sound between venues, even gamak sounded more energetic then last time i saw them in ballroom. Waiting room came across alot better as well.

Very pissed off I missed 7:10.

yeah the sound last night was pretty deadly, but i've been at a higher percentage of gigs in whelans where the sound was ruined by a dodgy engineer.

big amps, a hard hitting drummer and a vocal p.a. all the way.

THe best gimmick was the smoking shack they set up in the main bar.
And the human digeridoo who inhabited it for most of the night.

GAMAK were mighty! The drummer has some leg for the bass drum.
It sounded there was ten people on stage playin at certain points.
