OUT ON A LIMB NEWS APRIL 2007
Sorry folks that we are a little late getting this month's instalment. As always, there is a good dollop of news, all nicely structured in an alphabetical manner.
CRAYONSMITH
Crayonsmith's first US tour is going extremely well, with a number of shows in the West Coast (and also Canada) already down. A live studio performance was recorded with Ciarán (Smith) at KPSU in Portland, where some new Crayonsmith tracks got an airing, along with tracks from the debut album "Stay Loose". You can download the entire show here.
There are some remaining dates left, including a support tonight to Jason Lytle (ex Grandaddy). Live dates listed below.
On the Irish front, Crayonsmith will be back recording in May and a demo mp3 will be appearing on the myspace page quite soon. We'll have some details of Irish dates on the next update.

GIVEAMANAKICK
giveamanakick got some gigs coming up. They'll be playing a lot of new material from their forthcoming third album. This album is going to be recorded in Donegal in early May with top dude Tommy McLaughlin in his Attica Studios. Tommy (from the band Berkeley) recorded predecessor "We Are The Way Forward". It's gonna be good.
Gamak will embark on the 2fm 2moro 2our after that - it will also be good apparently. A new 2fm session will be recorded in a few weeks to celebrate that. Mighty!

Hooray For Humans got a number of dates lined up, including a tour with Galway niceguys The Ghostwood Project. New songs are currently been written for Hooray's debut LP.

TEN PAST SEVEN
Here's the latest news from Ten Past's spokesbogwalrus in a carefully worded statement
"SO we're playing The Pine Lodge Myrtleville on the 7th of April.
We have just conquered the highest mountain in Ireland and now
ourselves and Los Langeros can be crowned the highest bands in
Ireland.(lots of footage being compiled for DVD)
WE have also just come back from four days recording which took place
in a beautiful cottage/retreat on the Beara peninsula. This is for the
Upcoming split "7" (title not yet confirmed).
We are also confirmed to play the Mantua Festival in Roscommon.That's
in July.
A new set is being written by us and we are soon going to take over
Kerry with our legion of trained/crafted bog-walrus's"

WINDINGS
windings is still banging away at recording the 2nd album with. There will be
special guests all over the album, including Goodtime John and
others. A gig previewing new material takes place on April 14th in Daffys, Limerick, along
with the Hollows and Vertigo Smyth.
