quick query

got asked by a guy a few mins ago who prints album covers in ireland? he has the vinyl pressed already but just needs covers done

anyone know?


any printer can print them i know (we're printers ourselves) but it's the die-cutting and gluing of the covers afterwards that very few would be equipped for

Good question.
I got a record recently where the cover was clearly done by a regular printer. It wasn't great. Badly glued and on horrible stock.

Does the pressing plant in Dublin do covers,or do they farm it out?

Even in the 80s a lot of irish pressed records didn't have sleeves printed here.

yeah, one needs to specialise in it and have the right equipment, not enough demand for us to make that sort of investment hence my question
