Venues in Dublin without Bar??? (2 Viewers)

not to drag this on, i know how these threads go.

just wondered has anyone ever tried to put a gig on in a venue/room with no bar licence.

See the point is that i can get a transfer licence, but so far have only tracked down one suitable place, but they're not interested.
basically i'm sick of most venues in town, so this is my alternative.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
