hey,
got a spanky new bravia tv that has built in dvb tuner.
i tried pluggin ntl cable directly into it circumventing their box and although the autotune finds all the stations and they show up, albeit in a very weird order, on the epg, it has the majority of them locked out even those that are available to me on my ntl subscription.
is there any way of doing this either directly or going wall cable to ntl box and then box to tv. am amazed at all the technology still need shit load of remotes to control things.
i read the pcmcia slots on tv's can be used to put a card in from the supplier but i imagine ntl havent got round to this here yet.
any ideas?
