UPDATE: Diy Irish Hardcorepunk Archive! (1 Viewer)

Ed, would it be worth the effort of scanning interviews and reviews of irish bands from zines? ( I of course no longer have any as I donated them to a more worthy cause)

Also, more people should comment on the blog itself. I'm guilty too.

ogre used to play some song with satan in it - it stopped people talking i can tell ya, and was some mean feat in the earl gratten and the fox and pheasant i can tell ye!

Aye interviews and reviews would be good, Boz has sent on one or two nosebleed reviews that I've added to zipped folders, if anyone else wants to help out with this it would be deadly adn it is something I'll get around to in time, along with trying to get a website and learn html! And yer right Gary more people should comment so go ahead!!!

Just been through about half my 7"s moving them into better boxes. Pulled a load of irish releases. I'll do the rest over the next few days and pass on a list to you Ed. Must have about 50+ so far although a lot won't be usable (Good Vibes releases etc) or have already been posted.

wow Gary you seem to buy everything The Shanks, don't know was there that many made of that flexi. And that 4 Be 2's record must be damn rare, come to think of it that Paranoid Visions Robot Is Running Amok is be rare one anymore. Can I marry you?

The Shanks flexi was a given away at a gig in Giro's years ago,I don't think they played but someone from cork played or was up at the gig and was giving them away. I had a few more copies I collected from the floor at the end of the night but they've all been given away years ago.
The 4 Be 2's one is not that rare,I've seen quite a few copies around. It's also not very good.

Someone was selling the Wheel 7" on moshspace recently.
Do you have a copy Jamie?
There's also a song by them on the Statement 12" and I thought I remembered a song on a comp 7" put out by First Strike, either I'm mistaken or I can't find mine.

Awesome Tommy. I have a Three Ring Psychosis demo with like 60+ songs or something daft. I remember it being really good.

Just played the Shanks flexi,it's better than I remembered. The 4 Be 2 7" got a spin too. The a side is still pretty bad. The B side ( a cover of Can't Explain by the Who) is much better than I remembered. When I say much better I mean I find the awful almost random saxophone wailing throughout quite funny.

I might have an extra copy of that Wheel ep. Took something like 30 copies years ago to sell, I'm sure I've about two left. Also think your right about a song on a comp 7" by First Strike. Don't have it, but remember one of them saying about it at the time.
