Some vinyl nowadays seems to have 'free mp3 downloads' as part of the deal. I think making the complimentary downloads in the flac format would be a better incentive as many people would already have the mp3s. Personally, I like getting the physical vinyl product as opposed to just the artwork.

15 quid for a decent a3 print is peanuts -- in fact, if anything, it's not enough.

depends on the photo, and on the print quality, of course, but i've seen plenty of fine-art photo prints around that size selling for 200 quid and up.

it's an interesting way to reintroduce the idea of physicality to a music purchase, i suppose. though it might work best as a vinyl+mp3+photo package, for, say, 30 quid.

Just seems to me like they are trying to sell the album cover and instead of giving you the record aswell they tell you to download it.

Doesn't help that I don't think much of the photo either I suppose
