I am sooo tempted to post that picture of us posing in front of a bus in Athlone or somewhere, with the caption "Me and Alan in happier times".

They weren't happier times though, because it was the day after the incident that started this debacle.

haha, you were just shook after experiencing real toast. i remember, when we stopped that time, the lads went off looking for cheap beer in some supermarket, and eoin accidentally shoplifted by walking out with a six pack in his hand and not realising it. he went back to pay for it tho, and batman was rather disappointed.

I find that frozen bread makes just as good toast as fresh bread does

Hhhmph Frozen bread indeed, not when you have a freezer
that makes loads of ice and leaves enough space to squeeze in a slice of bread.

I think most of my kitchen appliances hate me.
The fridge first, then the cooker.

moving on to the rest of the house,
the central heating/water heater = lots of cold showers when your in a hurry

the upstairs shower head threw itself of it's holder and cracked the bath.

The telephone wire, (tripped me up and nearly killed me lots of times)

the window in my room only one of which will open.

Think that's all of the the things that have it in for me at this point and time.

My toaster broke last week.

For the next 3 mornings i got up, put bread in it, and then cursed the thing when it refused to perform any type of toasting function other then the popping thing at the end. It was only then that I realised how reliant I had become on it.

I'm buying a new one today!

it's pretty bad. marginally better than the picture of me kicking hag's ass (hmmm... a pattern seems to be emerging) but that's not saying much. if i can get the toast to behave i'll post it, but at the moment the borders keep moving of their own accord.
