Wrote a new tune over the weekend. When I sat down to record it I thought it'd be a total Sparklehorse rip off.

By the time I was finished it I realised I'd written an Eels song. Not bad though, I like some of the Eels stuff.

There's just me and the drummer now and he's sick and might not be coming back.
I went in the rehearsal room alone after work yesterday, dropped 200ug 1P-LSD, had a joint with a member of Little Xs for Eyes around 3am, realised I needed to do something/anything, and emerged at twenty to six with this recorded. Need to re-do the vocals as my voice was shot to bits by 5am, when I was doing them. (And do loads of other stuff, of course)

Was fun/intense to play.

Needs work (which I may never do) so I like this slightly loose sounding version.

Shoegaze: it's like they invented the genre for people who can't really sing and are too busy/shy to get some lessons.
