Part 1 in the Thumped film club is Funny Games U.S. directed by Michael Haneke. It's alright if you've seen the original too as the US one is a shot for shot remake but try go see the one on current release (it'll be easier than trying to find the original on dvd as well). Listings for it can be found here: http://entertainment.ie/cinema/ as it is not on wide release.

You have a week from today (Monday) to go see it, so come back here this time next week and discussion will begin.
