did the things disco happen? i can remember all the talk way back in january, but i can't remember if i went. anyone remember seeing me there? did i have fun?

it happened, and it was fun

but there was no music from cd's, only vinyl, so that sucked

there were lots and lots of people there, so that was cool.

but for what felt like an eternity at the start (about 45 minutes) there were only about 6, which sucked.

there was a good mix of people there, which was deadly

but at the start it looked like a load of punters from the george were having a reunion, if you know what i mean.

the raffle was cool - lots of people got lots of "deadly" prizes.

but i managed to bounce some stuff off a pillar while "distributing" it to the end of the room, which looked pretty stupeh.

on balance, it was deadly.

but it was no piss up in a brewery.

i think the best thing about the thumped disco was the look on the barman's face the whole night - bemused.
i felt like he was watching us and we were starring in a nature documentary like 'when mammals get connected to the net'
