Scan One

Perhaps best known for his work with Combat Recordings and label boss of Yellow Machines ,Jude Greenaway aka “Scanone” is a London-based producer and DJ who has been making, playing and releasing music for over a decade. In that time he has managed to develop a sound that skirts around the lunatic fringes of a myriad of underground genres, from bass-heavy electro and techno to glitched-up IDM and techy, brooding, dubstep. Eomac

A familiar face on the musical landscape in Ireland, Eomac is the new solo project from Ian Mc Donnell (Lakker, Lomelindi, Jenny and the Deadites). From contemporary classical chamber pieces to raging gabba, Ian has been diverse in his musical output, but this recent project sees a return to beat driven electronic dancefloor music - his first and most passionate musical love. Currently locked away in his studio, working on a new live set of heavy dancefloor sounds that draws on influences from beatmakers of all genres - from Timbaland to Surgeon via Zomby and Dilla – Eomac's excruciating style will have you grinding your teeth in full appreciation. For an idea of what to expect from the man, check his excellent mix series, currently on its seventh installment, over at: http://eomac.blogspot.com/

16 Hertz & Johnny Oakley

16 Hertz and Johnny Oakley are two Dubstep producers from Dublin, currently living, producing and gigging in Berlin. The pair have rocked many a party in Dublin the last few years with their unique take on all things bass and beat-orientated. Expect to hear a full-on liveset from the lads that'll get the place skanking in no time.

16 Hertz is riding high with his debut vinyl release, "16 Tons" for !Kaboogie, a massive stepper of a track, full of punchy brass samples and bubbling basslines. This track is getting support from SubFM's Rag & Bone show, as well as Adam Fogarty's Breakonomics show.

Rosanna

Rosanna has been known to play anything from mashup sets of electronica & breakcore to straight up techno. She has played for !Kaboogie at Mantua, for Nouveau Vadge and various other parties across the country. Her influences include Surgeon, Rob Hall & Jerome Hill.

Redmonk

Redmonk helps run the !Kaboogie collective here in Dublin, who have been putting on some of the mentalist parties for the last three years, and currently have a residency in Twisted Pepper, as well as the free fortnightly !K Club downstairs in Thomas House. A short attention span combined with a love of bass-heavy beats has seen him mashup the dance at gigs in Dublin, Belfast and parties all over the country, as well as Genoa and Barcelona, with some UK gigs lined up in the near future. He also presents a weekly radio show with Richie !Kaboogie on Radió Na Life 106.4FM and runs !Kaboogie Records. KBG001, featuring Prince Kong, Jah Balance, Lakker, 16 Hertz and Thatboytim is currently flying out of the shops, with further relesases showcasing the Irish bass scene lined up over the coming months.
